As I’ve mentioned earlier, we went to Paris this summer. Unfortunately we managed to fit it in right during the crazy heat wave over Europe at the time, and spending time in a large city then sure wasn’t very pleasant… Over all it was a nice trip, but I have to say that I didn’t love Paris as a city – it’r really not what you expect it to be, and the atmosphere was too stressing. We went to London a few years ago, and I liked that much better; I’d love to visit again! Anyway – here are a few photos from the trip. You can click or hover to get the captions. 🙂

- Off we go on holiday! We took the car from Sweden…
- …through Denmark and Germany to the city Brygge (Bruges)…
- … where I found a beautiful blue door!
- …and did some knitting – this was pretty much the only project I worked on during the trip, despite having at least five with me. Too hot!
- Lots of road – 1500 kilometers one way!
- In the end we made it there, and found the Eiffel tower!
- We also found Louvren…
- … and the glass pyramide…
- — took a boat ride on the Seine (you wouldn’t believe how hot it is right here, with the sun just bombarding us!
- We ate lots of baguettes…
- … rode the metro….
- … and visited Notre Dame – both inside and up in the towers!
- In fact, here I’m knitting in the long queue to the towers. Thank heavens it was in the shade at that time of day!
- I even found my own street!
- And what better way to end a vacation than with a kiss?
Lovely pictures – looks like a great time. 🙂
