Another knitting success! This vest is T’s current favourite. Magic ball, yarn simply knotted together – not visible in the final fabric. Awesome, in other words. Improvised from the top down. Cryptic notes for a 3-4 year size can be found on my project page.
Nästa nya design kallar jag för Humla! En liten kofta med öppen front, med detaljer i rätstickning och samma spetsmönster som Pärla. Snabbstickat i tjockare garn, här Malabrigo Mecha i färgen Dewberry.
My next new design I’m calling Humla, Swedish for bumblebee. A wee open front cardigan in bulky yarn, with garter stitch details and sharing the same lace pattern as Pärla. Here I’ve used Malabrigo Mecha, this time in colorway Dewberry.
Another swatch! Swatching stash yarn combinations is fun! Here planning a simple poncho – the rectangle kind where you seam one edge to another. Yarns are Madeline Tosh Vintage, Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk, and hand dyed Limmo Design sock yarn (with glitter!) in colorway Moa. Working on large 12 mm needles for a nice and airy fabric.
Yay! My new design Pärla has been test knitted and is now published on Ravelry. Sizes range from 3-6 months to 6 years. The shrug is worked up in bulky weight yarn – I’ve used Malabrigo Mecha.
My wee girl is doing her modeling debute at 10 weeks old. She’s a natural!

A planned project! My eyes caught on three yarns in my stash that I felt worked really well together. It’s all about stash busting, and it feels awesome!
Yarns: Malabrigo Rios in Water Green, Allegria Grande in Huarache, and Drops Air color 27. None of them are enough on their own, but together they will be enough for a striped cardigan! Right now thinking a Liv cardigan. I’ll cast on later when I’ve finished some other projects.
Super quick, super cute! Drops Eskimo used – the yarn is a bit rough for my taste, but stash busting we are! 🙂
