Got inspired after looking at some lovely crochet designs by The Moule Hole on Instagram. Besides the yellow baby blanket it’s been a long time since I did any crocheting. Decided to start up a Jane Jacket using stash yarn. At first I tried the multicolored combo up top, but the beautiful colors sort of disappeared in the mohair. Fortunately I had the perfect shade of purple Mini Maiden from Handmaiden, to match the Onion Wool + Nettles, and Hobbii Diablo.
From older days…
Need to figure out where I’m at – what I’ve posted on the blog, what not. Not to mention descipher notes and write the patterns for the new designs I’ve made. Time and energy is low. Preparing for moving house this summer. Much to do, preparing to sell our old place.
Meanwhile, from older days. A baby set made for me by my grandmother. 33 years old!

Keeping this sleeping baby warm and cozy: Flower cardigan!

Nästa nya design kallar jag för Humla! En liten kofta med öppen front, med detaljer i rätstickning och samma spetsmönster som Pärla. Snabbstickat i tjockare garn, här Malabrigo Mecha i färgen Dewberry.
My next new design I’m calling Humla, Swedish for bumblebee. A wee open front cardigan in bulky yarn, with garter stitch details and sharing the same lace pattern as Pärla. Here I’ve used Malabrigo Mecha, this time in colorway Dewberry.
Stripes! (Liv cardigan)
A planned project! My eyes caught on three yarns in my stash that I felt worked really well together. It’s all about stash busting, and it feels awesome!
Yarns: Malabrigo Rios in Water Green, Allegria Grande in Huarache, and Drops Air color 27. None of them are enough on their own, but together they will be enough for a striped cardigan! Right now thinking a Liv cardigan. I’ll cast on later when I’ve finished some other projects.
Sunday cardigan #2
Yoke finished on my Sunday cardigan. Color more true to life in these photos! 🙂
Had a nice cardigan pattern ripped out from a magazine, but no super bulky yarn to match. On a whim I just pulled four skeins from stash that worked good together. Resulted in a pretty beautiful swatch, eh? A great way to use up stash. Yarns are Drops Air (color 8), Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk (color 8), Madeline Tosh Merino Sport (colorway Gossamer) and a hand dyed skein from Garnlycka. Waiting on a new circular needle in the mail, then casting on!
Managed to make some good progress on this one when I had a rare couple of hours to myself. This is an older free Drops pattern, here working on the back piece. I’m using Malabrigo Mecha in colorway Polar Morn.
As usual I don’t like how Drops patterns are written, but I like the simple design of this vest and it should be a pretty fast project to finish. This will be perfect to keep them boobs warm this winter. 🙂
